My freezer decided to create an ice skating rink inside with a lot of frost covering everything on Christmas Eve. Affordable Appliance Repair was able to get someone to my house in less than 24 hours. Apparently, years of 3 long-haired cats and hard water clogged the drain so water was not evaporating. They were able to fix it right away for a price I could afford. I will definitely call them back in the future for all my appliance repairs.

The technician that showed up was very competent. He discovered the problem with our deep freeze, a leak. He did explain that the unit would need to be replaced. We asked if it could be repaired and he explained that a tech attempted to repair a similar leak once, but the material the unit is made of is very soft and the heat needed to repair it ended up creating a bigger hole. Repairs are not advised for the part. It would have cost about as much as the cost of a new freezer so we decided to junk it. The appointment fee was reasonable. We were pretty sure the freezer was a goner but needed professional confirmation.
